Her flat in Croydon has no heating, and the only electricity she uses is to power a single low-energy lightbulb and to boil the kettle (she washes her laundry by hand and takes only sponge baths)

She is charming, in her tracksuit, ready to go out running, with her hair pulled into a baseball cap bearing the symbol of the high-IQ society, Mensa. A scientist for many years, she has a mind that darts off in different directions and it can be hard to keep track of what she is talking about (perhaps because I am not a member of Mensa).

She also hasn't flown since the 70s and only been in a car a couple of time. She runs about 2 hours a day, more at the weekend.
