Become an EcoTeam leader in Leeds 7th November

Come and join the 20,000 households across England taking part in EcoTeams.

Global Action Plan is offering you the opportunity to attend our free event and receive training to become an EcoTeam leader. You will learn how to set up your own EcoTeam, how to tackle your environmental footprint and just why it is so important. EcoTeams are groups of people – neighbours, friends, colleagues – working together to make positive changes; from minimising the amount of energy used to cutting down on things thrown away. It will be a fun, informal day to help individuals work to reduce their carbon footprint in an accessible manner. You don’t need to be an expert, just interested in environmental issues and communicating these issues to others.

Hilary Benn, MP for Leeds Central and Secretary State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs described EcoTeams as “environmental weight-watchers”. It will be a fun, informal day to help individuals work to reduce their carbon footprint in an accessible manner.
